DAMIAN CONRAD-DAVIS JOINS THE CAST OF DUDES

Chicago, Ill. – The Nassau Street Group, Ltd., the production company behind the original series, Dudes (dudestheshow.com), has announced today that Damian Conrad-Davis has joined the cast of Dudes as “Ray”. The character of “Ray” appeared in Dudes’ first episode, “Have We Come to This?”. Conrad-Davis joins Shaun Baer (Tyler) and Brian Greer (Miles) for the second season of Dudes which commences principal photography on July 10, 2015 in Chicago.

Dudes’ creator, writer, and executive producer, Andrew Pemberton-Fowler, says the deal to bring back Conrad-Davis has been in the works for many months. “When the opportunity arose to have Damian join the show, I jumped at it. He’s a wonderful actor and we’re very excited to add him to the cast.”

Brett Emanuel, the series director, notes, “I’m looking forward to working with Damian again. A few short scenes in one episode simply isn’t enough to showcase how fantastic he is as an actor.”

Conrad-Davis notes: “It’s very strange to step into a world you have been watching from afar and to immediately be a part of the storyline. As someone who spent one day on set getting to know everyone and then watching the characters grow through the season, it’s very interesting to try to find where you fit into the story. … I’m hoping to add to an already great cast and strong show.”

With the addition of Conrad-Davis, there are a number of surprises in the upcoming season. Pemberton-Fowler describes it as a “soft re-set” on the series. “We’re going far from where we planned at the beginning of Season 1, but we hope the audience loves it and comes along for the journey.” Emanuel adds, “There was so much left up in the air at the end of Season 1, we’ll finally be able to put some thing to rest. If I say anything more, I’m going to give it all away.” Adds Conrad-Davis, “Andrew shared some of the trajectory of where (Season 2) is going and it left me with my mouth agape. … I think it’s going to be fun to watch people react to how this season unfolds.”

Dudes stars Shaun Baer as Tyler, Damian Conrad-Davis as Ray, and Brian Greer as Miles. Dudes is written by Andrew Pemberton-Fowler and directed by Brett Emanuel.
