BRETT EMANUEL

Biography:

Born and raised in Chicagoland, Brett has since journeyed westward, crossing perilous terrain in pursuit of his creative endeavors to enjoy the beautifully boring weather of Los Angeles, where he struggles to initiate conversation. A rabid reader and vigorous viewer, he can often be found consuming culture in-between busy bouts of acting and directing. He has a soft spot for history, human rights and all things hilarious.

Proudly sporting a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he often wonders why they don’t refer to it as Champaign-Urbana. Regardless, albeit terse, it was his time spent in the Chicago theatre scene where his “Robin” encountered the “Batman” of Dudes – Andrew Pemberton-Fowler. Or was it where his “Batman” found Andrew’s “Alfred”? In any case, these men joined forces to become super-men. Wait, no, super-dudes!

Brett can be seen acting in numerous overlooked short films and a gaggle of unheralded feature films, however, good luck finding them. He’s also directed a number of negligible and a handful of unfinished short films. It is his wish – beyond all wishes – that world peace can truly exist, but he’ll settle for you enjoying Dudes half as much as he enjoys working on each episode with his team of super-dudes.
